Consultatie aanpassing Uitrolplan landelijke waterstofnetwerk
Over the past year, Hynetwork Services, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy (EZK) and the market, has worked hard to develop the Hydrogen Network Netherlands. Hynetwork Services has started various permitting processes as part of the Government Coordination Scheme. Progress has been made on the agreements with market parties, and the first ground will be broken in Rotterdam after the summer! This will mark a significant starting point for the development of national and international hydrogen chains.
Given the uncertainties in the evolving hydrogen chains, the phased development of the national hydrogen network needs to be flexible and adaptive. Hynetwork Services is developing that network based on the roll-out plan published by EZK in mid-2022. We have since gained a better understanding of several factors that require changes to that roll-out plan, so we plan to propose changes. Before we submit this proposal to the Minister of EZK, we will publish a draft proposal on our website for public consultation. Interested parties will be invited to respond to this before 31 July 2023.
