350 metres of hydrogen pipeline under Dintelhaven
We are working with Hanab Pipelines & Industry to lay the first section of the Dutch hydrogen network in the area around the Port of Rotterdam. To cross under Dintelhaven, the hydrogen pipeline was tunnelled under the water using HDD arc drilling.
Arc drilling is a variant of this technique that is used when there is not enough space to drill the pipeline horizontally. In just 40 hours, 350 metres of hydrogen pipeline was laid under Dintelhaven. We are proud of this technical feat!
